Classes are currently offered online as well as in the beautiful Wellbeing Studio 1, in St Agnes, Cornwall (see picture above).
Class Descriptions and Levels:
Classes are offered at different levels, to enable people of all levels of ability to exercise safely and effectively at an appropriate pace. Before booking a course of classes, please ring to discuss your individual requirements to ascertain the appropriate level of class.
Pilates exercises progress from week to week and movement patterns are introduced and layered like building blocks. Therefore, courses are recommended to see and feel the progression, allowing the body to strengthen at an appropriate rate.
All new clients will be required to have at least a 20 min online consultation for £10. If you are a complete beginner, are injured, pregnant or have any conditions affecting exercise, it is recommended that you undertake a 1:1 before starting a course of classes.
NB: When you book onto a course of classes you get additional access to the client area which has short homework films and pre recorded classes for you to do as Homework.

Prenatal & Postnatal
These classes address the effects that pregnancy and motherhood may place on the body, such as the changes to posture, changes in hormones affecting muscle tone, and the continual lifting and carrying of children, pushing of pushchairs etc. We will work to bring posture and alignment back to optimum health and target muscle groups that will support the spine and other skeletal systems that are challenged throughout your pregnancy and beyond. NB: No classes are offered at present but 1:1’s in the new Garden Studio are offered. Alternatively, you can be incorporated into the Foundation Improver Pilates classes with specific adaptations.
Walking
Do you love to walk? Has it started to become painful?
Most of us learn to walk when we are toddlers, and then it tends to be something that is assumed we can do. Years go by, and we start to notice twinges in knees, hips and back. Our feet can become painful. The walking class or 1:1 is designed to assess our walking habits and work on ways of walking in better alignment so that we aid our biomechanical function rather than hinder it.
Classes and 1:1s are usually run over the summer on the beach, in the early morning, so we can feel ths sand between our toes and more importantly can look at our foot prints in the sand!
NB: It is always advisable to consult your GP before embarking upon a course of exercise, and this is essential if you suffer from any specific health conditions or injuries.
