I believe your exercise classes should give you skills to help you work in good alignment throughout your life, using techniques you can apply to activities around the house, at work, in the garden and in other exercise classes or sport.

That is why I make sure that my classes and 1:1s give you techniques you can use independently. The cues will help you understand how to get the right muscles working;  if you can sit, stand and walk in good alignment, you can start to move more freely and without pain.  Even if you have Hyper Mobility, an area of special interest for me, you can work in good alignment with the correct feedback for you.

HD Pilates Cornwall run small classes online, or in St Agnes at the  Miners and Mechanics Institute Studio 1, & have a beautiful Garden Studio for 1:1s in Illogan.

Here at HD Pilates Cornwall our classes are small so we can provide thorough feedback, whether you are in the studio or online.  Classes focus on correct recruitment of muscles within tailored exercise programmes to improve alignment, aid flexibility, strengthen muscles, and improve health and wellbeing.

Classes are provided for beginners to advanced levels, as well as mobility classes for those who struggle to get down to the floor.

Online, we make sure there is as little difference as possible to our in studio classes, so unlike watching a pre-recorded class, we observe you and give you personalised feedback to enable you to exercise effectively within the saftey and comfort of your own home.

Here at HD Pilates Cornwall, we provide thorough observation and tailored exercise programs with adaptations for most injuries and conditions including: bad backs, painful and limited movement of joints, pregnancy and postnatal, osteoporosis, scoliosis, hypermobility, arthritis and Parkinson’s.

HD Pilates Cornwall also provide Walking Classes and Walking Assessments on local beaches, where we assess your gait and look at exercises that will help you walk in alignment.
